Clue: Male species of fowl (4 letters starts with a c, ends with a k). The whole word was starred out. Ridiculous.

The reason c**k's been starred out, paraffin, is because some users've been known to use it in an offensive way. Sometimes things get through, other times they don't. It probaby depends on what context they're used in, and which particular words.
