Internet Connection

My neighbour has a wireless connection, which is working, from a laptop. He can chat to people on MSN but the computer cannot access any webpages or sites with IE.

Any ideas where I should look for a solution?

first guess, it's a DNS problem....type the following in IE's address bar and hit enter

http://209.85.229.147

If it loads google then you defiantly have a problem with DNS somewhere, firstly check the wireless connection is set to get it's DNS servers automatically.

Have you checked about internet time zone.
Is it correct?
Please follow these steps:
> Start
> Settings
> Control Panel
> Date and Time
> Go to the Time Zone and correct the internet Time according to your country time zone.
