help my back pain !!!

hi im a 34 year old and have been suffering big time lateley with siatica it started 4 years ago when i used to be a fencer lifting heavy concrete fence panels anyway the pain went after loads of tramadol and now its back again with a bang agonising pain in the back of my right leg and twitching in my calf sleepless nights went tothe doctors today and was given tramadol again and diazapan which are having bad side effects is there any form of exercise i can do to relive a bit of the pain and maybe get a full nights sleep

I suffer from this also but try to keep off the pain killers. I have just started using the Deep Heat Patches and I tell you what they are lovely!!!! cant praise them enough. Anything's worth a try, good luck.
I was given this one for my sciatica to strengthen my back.
Lie flat on your back. Make sure you keep your back in contact with the floor. Bring your legs up, tucking your knees up to your chest.
You can use your hands to gently support your legs if you need to.
Slowly and gently, with your knees together, move your legs to one side, so the sides of your legs move towards the floor.
Still keep your back flat against the floor.
Slowly bring your legs back to the centre. Repeat but to the opposite side.
Start with 5 reps each side. Work upwards as you can.

You could always try a chiropractor - worked for me.
Years of carrying a mail bag on one side had bent my spine (found out with initial X ray) and I was in constant pain, barely able walk sometimes. Though it cost money, it was worth it.
You really need to sort out the cause rather than cover the pain.
