Whats the programme called ?

There was a series that ran late in evening on channel 4 a few years ago about a group of friends who shared a house, I think there was two girls and two guys,one of the girls was a solicitor had short dark hair, one of the guys was called eg or something like that.My daughter and I have been racking our brains as to what the series was called.Please can anybody help !

"This Life" was screened on BBC 2 for two series in 1996 and 1997. An 80 minute reunion special "This Life +10" aired around New Year's 2007.

Hey Kempie, I thought it was channel 4 cos it was on so late but now you mention it it was on BBC as there were now adverts. I wish it would come on again, I really enjoyed it.
