I believe that after we leave this body our conciousness can exist outside of time and space. And this existance is not dependant on religion or beliefs.
Its a bit vague but i believe that there is an energy inside of us that, without the constraints of a physical matter can exist similtaneuosly in the past and future, but like all forms of energy it will eventually dissipate and dissolve. I believe we can touch these conciousness's at times during our lives, though not through our own efforts. This to me, as a logical person. Explains a multitude of phenomenon, ghosts, past life regretion, psychic ability, divine intervention, reincarnation, and many more.
Smudge - No I don't believe this. I believe that the only part of us that lives on are our genes and our bodies decompose and help foster new life. I view seance readers and people who claim actual supernatural contact with suspicion.
buddha01 - Did you know your last post has a sentence with 106 words in it? Your points are valid I'm sure but your posts are completely incoherent to me. Maybe if you write down concisely what you really want to say then people like me will be able to share your passionate ideas.
