bowness o windermere
I am going to bowness at weekend
and it looks like rain
any ideas what to see and where to go
also any nice resteraunts cafes etc

They go up to Ambleside where there look like some lovely eating places and down to Lakeside where there is a little aquarium (won't take that long to go round though) and an old steam railway which cold be worth a trip on if it's raining.
