Anyone know where this area/strech of motorway Bandit Alley is?
Its either in France or Spain

there's probably several - one I know about though was identified to my parents by the consulate in Lyon (when their car was broken into), the A7 (E15) just south of Lyon, around the Aire De Solaize service area.

I will ask my in-laws as they thought they'd had a blow out on the way through Spain, to their home in Portugal. They stopped to investigate, and were helped by a really nice couple. The man took my in-laws up, and around a bend, to show them where a garage was, but the woman robbed their belongings from the boot whilst they were away from the car for a few seconds.(This crime was not discovered for hours).
It turns out it wasn't a blow out, but a rifle shot, and the couple targeted them purposely. It's a good thing the woman was not caught in the act, as no-one knows what the couple would have done to my in-law's
