If you are being objective - and looking at an artist as a singer, rather than as a band front-person or what ever, the field narrows considerably.

It's also highly subjective, and personal taste will colour people's opinions.

So, leaving aside personal taste, and his place in a massively popular band, and viewing him purely as a technical singer - Chris Martin gets my vote.
