Limewire... free??

My friend recommened Limewire & said to sign up for the free version... however, I can see three sign up options, none of which are free... am I looking in the wrong place??  Thanks

I use the Limewire free version. It keeps asking if I want to upgrade...just click "later". I just looked for you and this link should give you what you need.

Yeah, this Answerbank user interface has done it again. It puts spurious charachters at the end of URLs so do this.

Click on the link and get the error page. Highlight the URL in the Address bar by ponting at it with the mouse cursor and clicking. Press "End" on your keyboard. You will see "<P>" at the end of the address. Delete this (being careful not to delete the whole address, just the <P> bit at the end) and press Enter or the Go button and you will get to where Robber1 was pointing.

I have the free limewire and it's slow and most of the files are poor quality or corrupt.. WinMX is by far more superior

Thanks guys... managed to get to the page, but still only gave me 3 options & none of them were free!  Reckon I'm just looking in the wrong place!  I'll keep trying!
