Many thanks for help...I got distracted before I put in the number of letters which is 6.4.4.

I had tried all possible cocktails thinking in terms of flags but the energy giving mint cake seems to fit the bill . Have finished the rest so help on offer if required .

Just writing out the envelope and I noticed the setter of this quiz was from Kendal. Dina 73...just blush away ...It was inspirational and perhaps I should get some to restore all the energy expended on trying to reach a sensible answer!
