I three daughters ages 18,16 and 11yrs, its been three year since their father walked out on us, since then he's been 'homeless' sleeping on friends sofas including his mums.In all this time he has'nt paid not one penny toward the girls upbringing [child support] in all that time( i work 30 hours a week) i have'nt preshured him to pay coz of his situation until now. He's now got some were to live with someone else. He's in full time work has been for the past sixteen years we were togeather .I'm going in circles not knowing if i'd be entitled to apply to the child support agency and will payment be backdated?

If your ex is now in employment, then he can and should be paying child support. If you cant come to an agreement together then the CSA can ask for 15% of his earnings to go to you via them.
I strongly advise you to speak to the CSA and they will be able to advise further. Im not sure about being able to back date the claim though.
Even after all the bad press the CSA get, the staff there can sometimes be very helpful.
Good luck
