Yes! I thought Edie was the best character in it! I wish they'd killed off the unlikeable Katherine instead! Can't stand her smugness!

Edie was the perfect counterfoil to the housewives perfect togetherness. Her departure will leave the show lacking, in my opinion. I find Susan very annoying, her "klutziness" does not appeal to me at all. Perhaps it's a male thing?
