A Prayer for Thursday

brown is my shepherd, i shall not work
he leadeth me beside still factories
he restoreth my faith in the conservative party
he guideth me to the path of unemployment
yea, though i wait for my dole
i own the bank that refuses me
brown has anointed my income with taxes
my expenses runneth over my income
surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of his term
from hence forth we will live all the days
of our lives in a rented home with an overseas landlord
i am glad i am british
i am glad that i am free
but i wish i was a dog
and brown was a tree
he leadeth me beside still factories
he restoreth my faith in the conservative party
he guideth me to the path of unemployment
yea, though i wait for my dole

Can you also please create a prayer/poem for all the decent/ top drawer posters here whom are regularly attacked by those snakes in the grass/ pains/pedants/vermin who regularly/predictably like to have a dig at anyone half decent here on AB. You see, these twisted individuals lead such sad empty lives that they have nothing better to do with their time than get their claws into some lovely poster just for the sake of it- their raison d'etre is to be catty.
Having a sense of humour sure is liberating McMouse + thank you big time for putting a smile on my face :-)
There is a silver lining to every crowd as P T Barnum would say + thank Heaven for individuals like you McMouse :-)
McMouse you are a genius ;-) Warmest wishes on a cold rainy day, Bea :-)

Was a Lib Dem all my voting life until David Cameron became a Tory Leader now am a Tory + Proud to be. Yes, he will make the country much better yet it will take a while to undo the mess that has been made by this shambolic government which is an embarrasment + has lost us credibility all over the world. Yet, saying this, David Cameron impresses me in the same way Barrack Obama does with his charisma + integrity + determination to put an end to the corruption in politics. Kind regards, Bea
'Old sins cast long shadows.'
It was a Tory, Maggie Thatcher, who deregulated financial services and set the stage for the mess we're in now. Brown may well be swept away by the tsunami set up by crooks and chancers in the financial world and if he is then he's as much of a casuality as any on us.
Cameron seems as glib as Blair. I think time will show he has even less substance.

Would not describe Cameron as glib. Never was a fan of Maggie + was far too young to vote in her days of government anyhow. Brown is a casualty alright! Anyway, lets not argue over politics, agree to differ as we all have different views there + not worth falling out over methinks. Must go now as hubby is back + want to give him all of my attention as he is a hard working plumber Super Mario. Back tomorrow, warm wishes to all especially you McMouse :-) , Bea :-)
