I live in Essex and each morning cross the creek that separates Canvey Island from the mainland. I have noticed a regular wader. Heronlike but smaller and pure white. Can it be an egret?

It certainly could be, I've seen them on the Blackwater before now, it could even be a spoonbill as they are apparently sometimes seen on our coasts.
Probably an egret, I used to see them regularly in Devon and at Parkgate on the Wirral.
Flobirds, it will probably be a Little Egret but definately not a Snowy Egret. Is this it?
