Balloon Belly
5 Answers
Anyone out there taking prednisolone, I'm down to 5mg a day now, but I've got a belly like a balloon, my tummy has always been flat - not through exercise, just through anxiety probably. I've been skinny or thin all my life until I was put on steroids last year. My problem is I've got a mixed connective disease overlapping with scleroderma, which has affected my lungs, so I'm on immunosuppressants. I can't get jeans or skirts to fit me so I buy maternity wear now, but me so fed up with it all.

I lost weight so quickly that swolen tum sort of maintained the status quo ... so not noticeable but very much there.
so don't envy you with long term use
sort of devil and deep blue ... damned if you do ..
