Didn`t really stay to do any sightseeing as we got herded out of the ground straight back to the train station
I lived just outside of London for 30 years and hated it, live out in the sticks now and love it

Hi cazzz and Bobbisox (tut lol) and totterdown, it won't be the nicest of trips, i will be given a hundred or so redundancy notices to deliver and also I'm putting some redundancy settlement questions to a panel representing the company. It's something I have never done but the majority of the staff in the North West branches felt I was the woman for the job, and so i am going to be responsible for their settlement packages, which is a bit daunting, but I think i can just get my head around the process.
Oh I guess that is the up beat way of looking at it, Some of the staff have been working for the company for over 20 years and they are very very upset, it's not about our company, it's the host store's new direction moving into autumn winter and we are being withdrawn from their sites, terrible blow after all this time, where our customers are going to find the same quality product i just don't know, many of them are very upset, they are such regulars . Then there's the future, for some staff they have really not thought what they will do, luckily I am fine but it's not nice having to deliver the bad news as you say.
