Can anyone help please. I would like to ship 2 pairs of shoes from the States to the UK. Has anyone had any experience of doing something similar and how much would it cost approx?

I have bought items from the USA - if the price paid is more than �18.00 you will have to pay VAT on them when they arrive in the UK. This happened to me, I bought a doll on Ebay from the USA and parcelforce sent me a postcard informing me I had �13.00 to pay before I could collect the parcel.

Sometimes the seller will write a lower purchase price on the customs form and tick the gift box.
