Hi, I have a 1998 Toyota Corolla and recently the ABS Warning light came on. I took it to my local garage and they can't find anything at all wrong with it. They say it's safe to drive, but I don't like having warning lights on.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

most modern cars require a computer to be connected to the system for fault diagnosis.
a few months ago my ABS light came on and the computer told us the right rear brake senser had stopped working. this was replaced[at a cost of 80 pounds] and the light went out.
yesterday an airbag fault light came on,more expense !
As said, wheel sensor.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a look
It's most probably one of ABS sensors at the wheel has bitten the dust.

I had this in a 1996 Toyota Corolla 2 years ago.

The garage removed the sensor, cleaned it all up to give a it a stay of execution but after a short while it came back on again. My only suggestion is don't go to your main dealer to get one.. they wanted 400 quid per wheel to do mine. Luckily I was about to sell my car and the dealer who bought it didn't even check.

Best of luck.
