So Greece didn't do as well as I predicted... Shame!! But Britain ended up with quite a respectable result! Who was everyone's favourite on the night?

Hi Josh

I'm gutted for you, that Greece did'nt finish higher...havent seen it yet, but will this week on catch up.......being an expat bet your quite happy UK finished high up in the order....maybe the voting style has changed and now they are voting for the songs rather than the political aspect.

That Malta rep...checked and it was Chiara, who is absolutely huge ( no pun intended!) in Malta.......she has represented them a few times and finished top 5 , even 2nd one year i believe........when i was over there working a while ago, she was playing a concert and filled it completely!( again no pun intended!)

Norway....good winner?

:0)
I liked the German entry - bit miffed when Graham Norton dissed it though, although his comments were very funny if a bit acid I don't think he should be allowed to actually incite people not to vote for certain songs. Also Azerbaijan (sp) - thought that was really catchy.
4getmeknot - ALM was probably sh*gging her because I can't see any other way she should have qualified -totally tuneless.
Not to mention ALW!

I was gutted Saki didn't come higher. But I'm starting to feel that I've become indoctrinated by the Greeks, because nearly everyone else seems to think his entry was awful.. Okay it's Eurotrash but I kinda like it. No doubt it's going to be a HUGE summer hit here, it's on the radio non-stop. He's a national hero!

More surprised than anything else for the Brit's respectable position. Maybe Britain's going to take it more seriously now. Greece gave the UK 12 points, but I'm told they were 'repaying the favour' of last year and expected Britain to give them a higher vote for Saki!

Norway?! Didn't like it. But I have a bias. I didn't like the smug grin on his face throughout the song, and then the even more smug grin when he knew he had pounded the competition.

Next time you're over here, play Elli Kokkinou- Ki Allo- it'll go down a treat!!!
