What started it for Rafa?
11 Answers
Back in January, there was Rafa doing his usual press conference, when he suddenly produces his famous list of facts about Manchester United/Sir Alex Ferguson. I don't think there had been any previous hint from him about the list or it's contents. So what brought this on? I don't recall anything at the time that might have prompted it. But then again, I don't read or buy tabloids. Was there something from SAF in one of those, about Liverpool?

I think the above link started it off !
He along with the other Prem Managers are tired of Fergusons mind games where he tries to gain the initiative.
He has been successful at it as well with the gullible ones.
He also gets away with criticism of referees and this has also cheesed off Rafa.

Rafa lost them the title this year by taking too long to work out the right way to play - if he'd been as positive in the first half of the season as he had been in the last, it may have been a different story, though I think Man Utd always just do enough and would still have found the extra gear if they'd needed to.
Next season will be interesting though!

I think Bernie has summed it up, simple as.
Knowing that Torres has been dogged by injuries this season, SOME L'pool fans might say that is the reason for their short comings this season (it was close in reality) but don't forget United were without Ronaldo (ankle) until October.
'Next season will be interesting though! ' I think so but lets sort out some small matter in Rome first.
