Can't say I've heard of either of the proverbs, but I think the first one starts:

everyone can keep house better than her mother till (she)  trt

 and the second one is:

who marries does well, who marries not does better

Think the final 't' should be 's' or there should be 's' before the final 't'

Everyone can keep house better than her mother till she tries (to).
