Near Cairns is Yorkie's Knob, in the NT you can step into Humpty Doo and in Vic. you can see Tittybong. In New Zealand a popular place is Waikickamoocow and because the Maori place names pronounce "W H" as "F" Whakatane can cause alarm.
My next quest is to nominate what two places should become "Twin Towns" or Sister Cities. I nominate Brown Willy and Turdees

They say life is one big coincidence and it never fails to amaze me but smudge (are you still there, smudge?) but I put my parents post code and got a lot of the amusing place names as you got! Our Essexness must be roubd about the same place! I liked Bummers Hill.
