oooh we used to have a den gang when I was about 8 but I was a late developer and didn't start smoking until I was 12. we just used to hide and have sweets and pop.

My daddy told me that picking up bits of wood from outside is dangerous because it might have nails in and mummy said it was dirty and ruined my shoes and I wasn't to do it. However they both agreed that somewhere out of their hair wasn't a bad choice so they brought me this wendy house thing one year, shoved it in the back yard and BINGO! I was quiet for hours.... Dad wasn't too impressed with me leaving his books in there when it rained but other than that, perfect soloution for getting rid of children in a safe enviroment.

And I only managed to fall asleep, get locked out, not wake up and no one notice I wasn't in bed for a whole night once!

I'd so have gone up a tree house when I was younger, I'd have thought that was reallly impressive as I always wanted one.... These days I suspect I'd still be slightly impressed but possibly not quite so willing to go sit in a tree with the bugs.
