Try an animal shelter!
We got our collie cross puppy from an animal shelter 3 weeks ago...... fully checked by the vet,micro-chipped, wormed, innoculated [twice], plus a month's supply of food.....all for 80.   She's already settled in as part of the family.
A good shelter will interview you and make a house visit before approving you.   Best of luck.

will they be okay with cats though

If it's a puppy, there is no reason why it shouldn't be ok with cats - when you train a puppy (properly) you socialise them with other animals so they are less liely to see them as prey animals! :)

Some breeds are more likely to chase than others though, so it's worth asking the people in the shelter about it!

:)
