Feral pigeons

I feed song birds so I know why I am plagued with feral pigeons. But, is there a way to deter them, is there a specific poison or other means. The proximity of buildings precludes me taking a shotgun to them.

However i stopped that & just have hangin feeders. Although i have a few pigs pecking around underneath 12/7 numbers have reduced greatly. Last year my house looked like somethings out of Hitchcocks film when walking down the road to entrance(al on my roof, waiting for me!) . 'Fraid you'll probably have to clear up, scatter less or ship out, as those little pigs will be there to stay this summer (probably already roosting in your eaves as we speak!!?)
Thank God conder.........feral pigeons..
A feral organism is one that has escaped from domestication and returned, partly or wholly, to its wild state. The introduction of feral animals or plants, like any introduced species, can disrupt ecosystems and may, in some cases, contribute to extinction of indigenous species.
Let them live........

We have similar problems at work but with Herring gulls. I like to feed the family of crows i have plus the smaller birds but there's just so many gulls that any food goes in seconds (i work in Brighton !!!)
But it got me thinking....if i want to feed the birds, who am i to play god and decides who feeds and who doesn't. So i spread the food round these days or don't feed them at all and watch them happily feeding on their natural food.
