the other day id noticed my back yard gate was unlocked and the leafes growing over my wall had been flattened i beleive the dog barking maybe scared them off, but about a week before all this someone knocked on my door and when i answered a chav was stoof outside on the phone and claimed the wind blew my letterbox, now last night another dodgy looking chav (we do not live in a council estate) asked for a certain adress and wilste askin was having a good luck at the dog.

i beleive there is 2 people involved and they r guna keep knocking using different m8s n different excuse untill we r not in, i beleive they r after my hdtv and wii wich has been in the living rom without the curtains drawn on show for some time, i have reported it the the police, but what else can i do? earlier today i broke a glass bottle and placed the glass on the wall under the leafes.IM ALMOST SCARED TO GO WORK!

Be careful, they may actually be after your dog! Dog theft is on the rise!

If you dont have a house alarm, you should really get one. Perhaps if you have a neighbour or family member who can pop in at random points when you are at work this might make them think twice!

I hope they get whats coming to them! damn chavs!
Get something like this. The sudden noise of the alarm may put them off.

Also, go and talk to your neighbours, tell them whats been happening, and that you think their properties may be at risk as well. If you all keep an eye out for suspicious people, it is a good tool.

Try asking to speak to your dedicated local police liasion for the area, and ask if they have any tips, neighbourhood watch stickers and if they can do some visible patrols in the area for a while,
id go and take the glass off the wall if i were you.

If anyone hurt themselves on it, you could be held accountable regardless of whether the victim was actually trying to get into your property.
next time your in the house and they come and knock on your door dont answer it!

Get a rolling pin or vase and wait and see if they come in, if they do hit them with whatever you have got and then ring the police
If you see them loitering, try and take a photo of them.
There are chavs having around outside your non council estate house? They probably thought you were invading their territory because your spelling is very chav like

Honestly, some people tar other people when they need look no further than a mirror
