Im 5 months pregnant and have felt the baby kicking for a couple of weeks now. I have asked my partner if he wants to feel but he says no. I think it might just be because its a bit unusual & he will come round to it but just wondered if any one else had experienced this with their partners or infact, being the father themselves, have experienced it. Thanks
I am 31wks pregnant and my baby kicks lots. I like to cuddle up to my husband when I sleep but as soon as she starts kicking he makes me turn over. He says it feels weird. Kinda like having 2 heart beats going at different times.
I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and my husband will not touch my tummy at all and wouldn't with our 1st either. He calls it alien tummy and doesn't even like seeing it move! But he is a fantastic Dad so it made no difference!
Why are men so daft. I make my partner feel when the baby moves and the visual movements are amazing. I personally think they need to experience a little of what we are. It would be nice if they could feel the pain too.
Now Mr Boo was the total opposite, he adored feeling Mini Boo when she was kicking. He used to like me to spoon him in bed at night, so that if she kicked during the night- he'd feel it too.
Actually my partner is the same Boo, he also likes me to spoon him, so he feels baby kicking him in the back. Baby has been very active today, I'm sure he's dancing in there.
He is Mrs C, but I dont tell him that often, no need to give him an inflated ego is there eh?
Mr Boo also liked to come in the bathroom when I was having a bath as she was very active then, but I think that was more to do with the fact the water was that hot i was par-boiling her and he'd come in to tell me she was cooking :-(
