My two flamingo acers have lost the lovely pink colour in their leaves. The leaves are still variagated and ones that are growing at the base are very pink. How do I get the colour back?

Haven't you had them for very long Chrischicken? I believe that it's only the new growth that's pink & they fade to green & white as they mature. Nothing you can do except wait for next spring!

Hi Robina

Thanks for your comments. We have been here 20 years and I seem to remember that when we first came they were pink but now they just have green and white leaves all the time which is a shame. Regards Chris

Sorry Robinia, I have spelt your name wrong.
Do you ever give it a Ericaceous feed? If not , try that as per instructions on bottle.

hi Carlton23

Thanks for that it could be the answer. We live by the river and I have always been told we cannot grow azaleas. My husband has gone to see if we have anything in the shed otherwise a trip to the shop tomorrow.
