Kia Ora. :)

Catch 22 - Joseph Heller.

But Dr Filth. I agree. Bill Brysons, Short History of Nearly Everything is brilliant.

And so is Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion.
This was Geoffrey Brock, NoMercy.
Fav books when I was a young un, Moomins by Tove Jansson.

Still love them now.

And Asterix & Tin Tin.
Question Author
Kia Ora, MWB !

I haven't read The God Delusion yet, but have been meaning to.

Of all Dan Brown's books, I liked Deception Point the most. However, they are far-fetched, but hugely entertaining. I'm looking forward to reading his latest offering.
I enjoyed Shadow of the Wind, his new book is out on the 1st june called Angels Game looking forward to reading it.
I'm even more cheesed off now..!!!

At least I have a bath :-)

El Juego Del Angel (The Game of the Angel) has been out for sometime in Spain. I saw it on display in Carrefour ages ago.
Question Author
Why are you cheesed off, Ummmm? You sounded like you were having a barney with the bf last time....or am I thinking of someone else?
I don't really have barneys with BF...it's other people. They think we're a bank..!!!
Title for it here is The Angels Game. Have you read any reviews on the book ? Have mine pre-ordered.
Most of Henning Mankells books. Love them. And I see The BBC has made a series with Kenneth Branaugh as Kurt Wallander.

I hope NZ buys it.
Question Author
I have no idea what Angels Game is about, but he is a very celebrated author in Spain.

MWB - Wallander? Isn't he some burnt-out, tormented detective based in Sweden or somewhere?
All police detectives in books are portrayed that way.

Lol.
Mister God, This Is Anna - Fynn.

Sci-Fi is my usual bag but this came highly recomended, I couldn't put it down.
Would have to be Dune and the rest of the series. It was ahead of it's time such as comments on politics and ecological issues but a great sci-fi book.
I agree with you there vicars about Dune. I read it when I was younger but didn't know then it was part of a series. May have to try again.
Don't have a specific favourite but anything by Ian Rankin, Peter James, Stuart MacBride or Tom Sharpe.
Question Author
