Just got back from the Acoustic Festival of Great Britain.

Highlight for me was interviewing Imelda May who was delightful, and then watching her perform.

She was awesome, I strongly recomend anyone who enjoys a kick-up to get along and see her and her band play.

A cracking time will be had by all!

Quite right Sherman!

When we met for our interview, she was wearing bright red bumpers with jeans and a gingham blouse and a coat.

When she changed to go on stage, she appeared with her hair re-greased and quiffed, a black and dark green halter-neck dress that she must have been poured into, lips as red as sin and heels that would give most people vertigo.

I think if you look up the word 'hot' in the dictionary, there will be a little picture of Imelda there!

Altogether now ...

"I wanna be Johnny, and I want it now!!!!!"
Saw her in February at Manchester Uni. Totally agree with you.
Ooh! She's good andy!

I gather you are a music journalist. I have written an album review which I would be grateful if you would look at before I submit it on-line. If I posted it in this thread, would you cast a critical eye over it?

thanks

No.
PMSL, Gromit.

I had to check it was a genuine album, nice one.

Informative review, I'll take note.

OK, I've cast my critical eye over it, and pronounce myself impressed.

Your brevity is matched only by your depth of critical faculty, I am thinking about giving up writing after realising what I'm up against.

It eclipses my previous review which was of the Owen Paul single entitled "I've Been Hurt".

The reviewer's pithy on-the-button retort was -

'I'm not surprised'.
Thanks Andy, your kind remarks are much appreciated.
