Why don't AB have have a facility where the enquirer automated e-mail when an answer is submitted to their question this saves the possible empty anticipation.

I don't understand the question.  We get emails for EVERY answer that is posted to our questions.  This includes when we ourselves post an answer to our own questions.  We've asked to have this stopped and I believe ABE is looking into it, along with our 1 million other requests!

Touche acw. I haven't checked my e-mail recently

Teehee! I'll let you off!  Especially as you are still green! Hope you are loving my attempts at help in your other threads!  If I start to annoy you, please tell me! :-)  Others are more than happy to do just that! :p
Can you parse that sentence in the question for me?
Which one?  The original question by racinglover?  We're all sorted thanks Madge - fully decoded! :-)

RacingLover, were you offended by my answer?  I do hope not!  I was just a bit confused by your question.  I tried to understand what you were asking, and then attempted to explain that we DO get emails alerting us to answers to our questions.  I actually just thought that maybe you'd set the account up based on your secondary email account and had forgotten to check! :-)

My answers have been removed because someone reported them.  If I offended you at all, please let me know - honestly no offence was caused.  But please do tell me through the thread first - to give me a chance to explain and apologise.  I'm really not a nasty person!
