law in respect of care home fees
If I wished for my Mum to have respite care in a care home whilst I was out of the country could I do this but use her money to pay for it. Sounds awful but its the only way I could afford to do this. Social Services will not help with respite care at the moment.

My mum has limited mental capacity at the moment but I am going through the process of obtaining a 'certificate provider' to get PofA as soon as possible because she has been diagnosed with probable early Alzhiemers. She is desperate to stay at home and says she doesn't want to go into care at all even temporary so I'm undecided between Social Services help every day or pushing for her to have six weeks in a care home.
