I've got a few avi files I want to burn to CD, i have 700MB CDs, and the files are roughly 350Mb, that means I can fit two on a cd obviously. Problem is, that a couple of the files are a little bigger (e.g. one is 358Mb). Does anyone know of a program that I can use to slightly reduce the quality and size? I'd rather not have to trim the edges of the file, although will if I have to. I'd like to just reduce the Kbps of the video or something to shrink the file. Thanks in advance. Oh, and free or trial software would be most appropriate. Thanks
you could try the divX encoder; free trial. it lets you specify the size of file to output. else you can enjoy messing about with bitrates (many free bitrate calculators out there)
