Don't buy a toshiba laptop! My daughter has one which is 8 months old and 2 keys fell off and the b**tards won't mend it under guarantee even though they said they would!

also from my experience in spain id buy an acer laptop

i know dot said its cheap, well dependant on the model.but most shops here in the reef sell acers and therefore camn get parts or may even have them.
try to get a dell fixed and youd be easier to try walking on water back to england.

did you buy it on your credit card ?
if you did then it should be covered on that !
johhnny i think it might be case of them saying the keyboard hasnt been defective but damaged through negligence or excessive use

The shop down the road are selling a acer for 299� but i can't get it until Aug, i think I'll ask if they can get me one then.
