Can anyone help me identify the above? I can't remember any more of the lyrics.  It is a very old song and has been driving me mad for a long, long time.  Thank you in anticipation.

From what i  can decipher the song is called the hymn for love or maybe hymn of love, originally sung by Edith Piaf.

I seem to remember an earlier version of these lyrics (not sure if it was the same melody) back in the nineteen fifties by a male singer of the Ronnie Hilton/David Whitfield ilk. The words are identical.
