Baby wriggling constantly
I'm 38 weeks today. For some reason, baby has been very active for the past 5 hours, really wriggling and kicking. Does anyone know if a more active baby towards the end of pregnancy, means it's due to arrive very soon?
Thanks

Velvetee - good advice from Rosetta. Keep that bag stocked up ready. It won't be long now, will it?
By the way - a tip from an old midwife - which works - when your final contractions start, you won't be able to stop them very well (grin) - but try and push down towards your bottom, as though you're going to the loo! It helps prevent tearing, and teh need for an episiotomy.

It's best to buy the loose leaves Velvetee, not the ready-madde teabags. There's a warning not to drink it before 3 months, as it can induce miscariage. It works on the system like slippery elm does, and "paves the way" for the baby to move down the birth canal. From 6 months, it's safe to take, hun, and really does work - but who knows - just a few cups of it from now on might help. Good luck anyway.
