35A Composer of the Tender Land (5,7) is Aaron Copeland, which gives the first letter 'R'
39A The area to the right or left of one's body (9)Hemispace is the answer which gives M as the third letter on 36D
42A "sweetly" in french (9) was dolcement, but now believe Rollo is correct with doucement, U is the 5th letter of 36D
44A One hundreth of a Baht (6) is satang which gives T as the last letter of 36D
