Is it possible to tune an infra red torch beam to a specific photonic wavelength?

Apart from it bieng illegal ( i guess ) i wondered if it was possible as people are paying 230 + for them..
AFAIK, fruit machines are not at all random, and use a computer with a programmed payout ratio. This is used to weight its random number generator accordingly, which in turn moves the wheels, lights, etc. using controlled servo motors. The only light-affected part might be an IR trap that might (I simply don't know) be used to detect and confirm wheel orientation (like the ones in your computer's mouse). It's plausible that blinding these using another light source might confuse the machine, but I can't see why the machine would default to 'pay out' status in the event of this happening.
hi, thanks for the previous answers.
this is a cut and paste from the ebay ad
High Intensity Infra-Red Photon
The coin mechanisms and hopper payout counters on modern post-1996 machines all work by using infra-red light systems - the beam is cut whenever coins payout, or correct coins drop in the coin mechanisms to register credits
I have managed to get my hands on just 3 Hi-I Infra-red Photon devices.
The devices have been specifically tuned to the photonic wavelenght used in the payout mechanisms of all modern fruit machines.
Multifunctional because they can be used to increase credits when the light is shone down the coinslot and also to increase pay out by up to 8x the bank when shone up the hopper chute.
Micro Sized with invisible light - so cannot be seen by others
