Lettuce

I am growing some cut and come again lettuce. However, the leaves now appear to have some sort of insect making patterns on the leaves similar to ringworm. These insects are under the surface and are very minute. Can anyone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them. I have picked off all the damaged leaves.

sounds like leaf minor. You can spray for them but if you remove the leaf then that should remove the minor so problem solved.
