Should you trim the fur between the pads on a cats paws. They are indoor cats...?

Why would you want to ?
Is it causing the cat any problems or pain?
If not then best leave how nature intended.

If the hairs are too long they'll wear away naturally.

Cats paws aren't very sensitive but the gaps between their paws are. Try tickling their back paws by gently pushing your forefinger between the main pad and the finger pads and stroking the tendons.
