Ladies need some advice please!

Basically 5 weeks ago i had a miscarriage.
My question is how long before the monthlys return its 5 nearly 6 weeks and some signs but noting else how long does it usually take???
A bit confussed is all!

How long is a piece of string?

It varies from person to person...6weeks to 3 months.

Of course, you copuld become pregnant again in the meantime.

sorry to hear that, firewatch. I can't honestly remember how it went for me, but any calculations should be from after the bleeding stops after your miscarriage. I'm sure NHS Direct would tell you, or it may be best to call your doctor's surgery and speak with the practice nurse.

Ha, i have been once this week after a crash, bad bruising etc, but was soooo annoyed/upset when the doctors first statement to me was 'your pregnant' i said 'for f?@ck sake (i dont like swearing but it got my goat) have they not updated my files yet' so i kinda of forgot to speak to him about tha, but will go back if nothing happens soon. Thanks for your answers, its given me some piece of mind.

Bless him, it was not his fault and he went bright scarlet when he saw/heard my reaction, honestly i am in communications with someone in the PALS place, and emailed following the incident Friday along with the practice manager.
