will my car pass its MOT?

I have a mini, and the big speedometer in the middle has stopped working, i have not had time to take it to the garage ye but am loking at going today. but wil not have time to have it repaired before my MOT. I have a digital speedometer on my dash board, so obvioulsy iknow my speed.
will this affect my mot?

well my car well and truly FAILED!! not for the speedo, the brakes pipes are eroded, the power steering pipe is eroded, there is an oil leak and the back exhaust is slightly deteriotrated.
GUTTEEED!!
�900 they quoted me!! am taking it to an independant garage tomorrow to see what they quote. gutted.
