Attractive way to hide band equipment during wedding ceremony?

Hi All

We are using the same room for our wedding ceremony as where the band eqipment is stored. We can push the band equipment into an alcove, but it will still be visable and people will be sitting next to it.

Does anyone have any cheap suggestions for how to conceal it? Draping sheets over it made it look like we were decorating and dressing screens are too expensive to buy!

a cheap curtain rod/pole and curtains from a charity shop maybe?

Couldn't you just have two tables pushed together and put on a tablecloth and stock all the equipment underneath?

Unfortunately it's a full drum kit and huge amps (they're a rock band!) so it wouldn't fit under a table.

Another suggestion is to drape a sheet over as you said and then ask all the guests to write a little note of advice to the bride and groom and pin it on the sheet. it would make a feature out of it! You could provide the pretty paper and maybe pin a few artificial or real flowers on it to start it off.
