Nose Piercing Problems!

I had my nose pierced for the second time about a month ago (with a gun and straight-post ear type stud) and am finding it impossible to get any angled studs in. I know that you can buy straight post studs with a ball-end but having never seen one, was wondering how you put it in?? I probably sound really thick but do you have to screw the ball on inside your nose or is the ball fixed and you just push the whole thing in??

sorry to digress ... but I've always wanted to know ... if you leave the studs out and blow your nose - would it sound like a whoopeee cushion?

Can't answer your question I'm afraid - the only thing I'd stick in my nose is my finger

I only ever had angled ones, took a bit to get used to though you get used to it in the end and the worst bit is getting them in in the first place.

Just go gently and put gentle pressure on bit by bit from the top only and it will gently ease itself it, might hurt a bit at first but will be fine once settled.

HI - when i got my nose pierced i got a surgical steel 'post' in (not sure if this is the correct term btw) but i had to keep this in for a few weeks. So i am wondering if you have taken your 'post' out too early and there is a blockage which means you cant get in an angled stud.
just try a straight one for a little while to keep the 'hole' open and accessible and then try angled ones. I now buy straight ear studs and bend them slightly to keep them in my nose.
If you find you cant put in any studs at all go straight back to the piercer and see if they can have a look and advise you - they normally also sell angled studs and can put one in there and then for ya.

I had an angled stud put in mine but then I had mine pierced the hard way with a needle
