Yesterday I made an assumption

which I now regret. I called the parents of the little boy in the rucksack who's parent committed suicide "sick". I feel bad for saying that now as the little boy who had been suffering with an illness had died from his illness before these events happened.

I take it all back. This will teach me to make such assumptions.

Well yes, it is always hard for those who are left behind. But it is those who are left behind who remonstrate and blame themselves for not seeing the signs. Perhaps that is what the father of the suicide victim you know is doing and that is why he is now drinking. He cannot live with the guilt of not being there for his son.

Just been reading about this tragedy, Tigger i must admit if i had read it yesterday i too would of made the same assumption as you, we all jump to conclusions sometime so don't you worry!!!!
