Unfortunately not. The series was made by John Read and Mary Turner, who had been cameraman and puppeteer respectfully on various Gerry Anderson shows. They set up their own company when Anderson finally moved away from puppet shows. Cloppa Castle, Here Comes Mumfie and The Munch Bunch were also made by them.

I think they may not be able to release the series on DVD as the rights to Rupert TV shows rests with another company currently involved with a TV series production.

I am led to believe there was a video of some episodes in the early 1980's, but I have never come across it.

Thanks for your answer my son loves rupert so its a shame they dont bring it out.
What a pity, I would love to see it again. I loved 'Raggety' the twig man. Did you know that the theme tune was sung by Jackie who also sang the theme tune to 'White Horses'?

God i used to love White Horses, wonder if you can get that on video/dvd? yeah raggety was wicked oh how i wish i could see that again i'd enjoy it as much as my son!
So far as anyone knows, only a short clip of the English dubbed version of White Horses exists. I believe the complete run of original Czhechoslovakian episodes exist, so not much hope of a DVD release.
