Is my dress too short?

I recently bought a dress for an induction ceremony at my high school for the National Honors Society. Do you think it's too short?

Mmmmm...for the National Honors Society (you must be posting from the States)-yes I think it is a bit too short. You want somthing a bit more ...conservative ...for that.

I'd agree with Pasta and suggest something in one colour, not checks and not with leggings, looks like you're going to the Movies with friends, not for a formal reception.
