I know theres probz nothing that can be done but my laptop got a virus n it got scrubbed n i lost all my photos n music n i was just wondering if anyone knows how to recover the photos i lost

If Windows has been re-installed and the disk formatted then these files have probably been lost.

Even if you had a virus you probably could have saved your photos and music BEFORE it got "scrubed".

I am not sure who told you it needed to be scrubbed but they could have almost certainly saved these photo and music files before they were lost, so that was pretty bad of them.

Yours is a classic situation where I say to people BACKUP your important files on a regular basis, either to an external hard drive, or (better still) to CD or DVD

It's rare that a virus requires the whole machine to be "scrubbed".

Im guessin it was a virus a cudnt do anyhng on it wen i turned it on it was a blnk screen wit a flashing white line

If you have lost your files it is a lesson. Make sure you regularly back up important files somewhere outside of your hard disc.
