Everytime I do a spell check on microsoft outlook it uses the US dictionary. I can change to UK it once the pop up comes up but I wondered if I could change the default setting so it automatically uses the UK dictionary?
thank you.

Go to tools -- options -- spelling and choose English UK from the choices of international Dictonaries near the bottom.
you haven't said what version of outlook!

But if it's earlier than 2007 then it should be

Start > Programs > Microsoft Office > Office Tools > Language

and Set the default there.

if it's version 2007 then it takes the language settings from the main system location settings, change these in control panel under regional settings.
