about "The Good Old Days"
It'doesn't matter if you are 20 to 70, everyone remembers something that isn't here anymore, for me I think it was the "dances" where the lads would all stand at one end looking matcho in their Italian Suits and knitted ties and winkle pickers, the girls with their full skirts and can-can slips, hairbands and whirlpool bras,,,he-he, remember them?
could put your eye out if anyone got too close,,,lol
what isn't there for you now?

I miss the togetherness of neighbourhoods, as a kid our neighbourhood used to have bonfire parties, were in and out of each others houses, knew everyones name, mixed with everyone, our families always helped each other out, really happy days

as an adult its like pulling teeth to get a smile out of some people in my street and most of these people have lived here for years and barely ever exchanged a word! very bizarre!
I know what you mean about the 'not wearing a bra' - dot - I miss that - I feel sorry for the young girls now with the breast implants - they will never know that freedom !! ha ha ha ha
Hiya cazzz!
Bonfire night was always a big event wasn't it! The lads all collecting the wood and guarding it so it wasn't nicked! ;0) x
